People urged to elect quality leaders

 THE Minj urbanisation project chairman Simon Hans has urged the people to elect quality leaders in the LLG elections.

Hans, who is contesting the South Waghi council president’s seat, told a big crowd after his nomination last Friday that Jiwaka needed educated leaders with good track record to develop the new province with their members of Parliament.

He said people who knew the government system well and could bring tangible developments using their own initiative and they were the ones that the people needed to elect.

“The power is in your hands, if you know that someone is capable of delivering goods and services then you must elect him,” Hands said.
