Petition to God is a ‘cult mentality’

IT is sad to read about the late Joseph Kingal’s body being held in his home and the so-called church leaders praying for a miracle.
This is totally unacceptable and it made a mockery of the good work by Kingal.
These leaders should be appealing for a state funeral.
We must thank God for having raised in PNG such a great preacher like Kingal rather than petitioning for a return.
It is frightening to question God.
He is the giver and he is the taker.
It seems those that petitioned God must have forgotten this basic sermon.
What is happening is a cult mentality.
