Petty crimes at bus stops

 THIS serves as a notice to our police commissioner and all his regional superintendents that our major bus stops in Lae, Madang, Kundiawa, Mt Hagen and Mendi are no longer safe for the travelling public.

I have been travelling those routes on many occasions and have witnessed petty crimes growing out of control.

I have witnessed simple people being robbed and they cannot put up a fight with those street thugs  because they operate as a team when resisted.

Police commissioner, get out there with your policemen in plain clothes and witness it yourself, Mendi, Hagen and Lae are the worst.

Please, have your policemen stationed there especially at peak times. 

Otherwise, people will never feel safe travelling.
