Pini to sit on Games board

ATHLETES who competed at the Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa, have selected former Papua New Guinea swimmer Ryan Pini, pictured, to sit on the Pacific Games Council executive board for the next four years.
This was announced by the Pacific Games Office over the weekend.
The office also announced Samoa swimmer Brandon Schuster as the best male athlete of the Games. New Caledonia swimmer Emma Terebo was named the best female athlete.
The best team of the Games was the Guam men’s basketball side.
