THE news article ‘Levy to support move to stop use of plastic bags’ in The National on Friday shows how ineffective some policies in the country are.
Minister for Environment Conservation and Climate Change John Pundari has to suspend those involved who can’t effect policies.
It is a waste of time, resources and money.
The money stated was K20 million every year from 2009 up to now.
Just do the calculation to see how much was spent through these years.
These two policies are now considered as failed policies.
Those in the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (Cepa) must hang their heads in shame for not implementing these policies effectively.
It is a common saying that if you cannot do small things, then you are unfit to do big things.
