Plastic ban a great move

THE nationwide ban on single-use plastic bags has worked and proven to be one of the best directives our Government has taken.
I walked the streets of Lae, major shopping centers, main bus stops and noticed that these places are little bit brighter than before.
Keeping our towns and cities clean at all times is part of the healthy living standard and the ban has been a good initiative.
We should take responsibility to continue look after our environment and keep it clean at all times.
Littering has truly destroyed our environment and is a direct health threat created by human beings.
We cannot blame anyone for all the filth in our towns and cities.
It is our own attitude and carelessness.
Let’s support our Government by fixing and correcting our bad littering habits to ensure we make our towns and cities better places to live.
Manufacturing companies should be more innovative and creative.
Consider recycling of trash such as plastic bottles to save our environment.
