University of PNG students and parents are trying as best as possible to pay up school fees for 2018.
This is only to hear from UPNG accounts that Government has not paid its second component for TESAS students in 2017.
This is very frustrating.
We are requested to pay that outstanding prior to paying fees for this year.
Can the university confirm this?
Can the Government and Minister for Higher Education Research Science and Technology (DHERST) look urgently into this?
There is no logic in DHERST not subsidising the second component for last year and prioritising the 2018 academic year.
