Please fix Paga Hill road
The National, Wednesday 22nd Febuary 2012
I SUPPORT the letter by “Frustrated Muj” (The National, Feb 13) regarding the potholes along Page Hill.
That short stretch of road should not be treated like a bush track.
It serves the Paga Hill community, the people up the hilltop and the settlement downhill.
The Telikom tower at the top of the hill also requires regular maintenance and technicians need the road to travel to and fro.
Paga Hill point itself is a leisure and sightseeing venue.
It also serves as a popular tourist destination due to its historical value with the war relics and bunkers.
But the first impression a tourist will have is how poor the road conditions are in the heart of the city.
I support the writer and urge the member for Moresby South, Dame Carol Kidu or the NCDC, to seal the road.
