CAN the National Government and in particular the Prime Minister Peter ‘O’ Neill intervene in the Eastern Highlands Provincial Administration saga, which is creating so much havoc and instability much to the detriment of the development and progress of the province. Although the incumbent Provincial Administrator, Solomon Tato, has been cleared by the courts of any wrong doings, his case should not be considered as water under the bridge it is far from over. On the other hand, Samson Akunaii, a Gahuku man with more than 20 years’ experience as deputy director of the PNG Institute of Medical Research Institute should be allowed to continue as appointed by the National Executive Council in whatever capacity acting or otherwise.
