PM stresses importance of businesses

PRIME Minister Peter O’Neill says the Government and the business community need each other to develop the country.

He addressed the business community at the Parliament State Function Room yesterday morning in a breakfast organised by the Business Council of PNG.

“This (meeting) is important because we are partners in nation building,” O’Neill said.

“This opportunity to speak to you enables the public and private sectors to talk frankly about issues and challenges that we face in our country. 

“We need each other and that is the reality not only in this country but everywhere in the world.”
