PM’s comment ‘pathetic’

Letters

THE front page report in The National on Wednesday about the prime minister’s reason for disbanding the Task Force Sweep Team was pathetic, shallow and lacks any credibility at all.
I cannot dispute the fact that O’Neill by far is the best-performing prime minister since independence in terms of service delivery.
However, the reason he gave for disbanding Task Force Sweep Team lacks any substance at all.
In other words, there are two sets of laws.
If a politician is found to be involved in corrupt deals, he or she should not be investigated.
Chief executive officers, managers and other employees get the bullet.
That is total injustice after what has been preached about minimising corruption.
I hope the PM can come up with a very good reason for disbanding TFST.
