PMV operation needs control

Letters

CAN the city authorities intervene with PMV operations in the National Capital District?
Gerehu commuters are disadvantaged almost every morning.
Buses only run from Gerehu to Waigani bus stop.
We either pay an extra kina to reach our destination; save the kina for our afternoon trip home; or walk the rest of the way.
Can we have police stationed at the main bus stops from 6.30am to 8.30am to control the PMV movements?
And maybe think of providing five other buses for school children.
I feel sorry for school kids who have to be squashed in between adults just to get on the bus.
Please, this normalcy is causing chaos.
