THE PNG National Rugby League Bid team headed by the general manager Brad Tussel and development officer Shane Morris will be visiting Rigo district next week to rollout the All Schools programme.
The programme, which will coincide with the local league in Central, will involve 22 schools in the district and 12 clubs, involved in various clinics run by the Bid team.
Rigo Rugby League president Gwaibo Mairi said yesterday that it was a priority for affiliates (member associations) to undergo regular clinics because it was vital to the development of code in the district, province and country.
“We are happy to be affiliated to the mother body (PNG Rugby Football League) because it gives us the privilege to have such programmes run by highly qualified people like the PNG NRL Bid team.
“It is also good because we are about to start our season,” he said.
