PNG Air tickets now available at airport

PNG Air has opened its new sales office at the Jackson Airport to provide convenience for the travelling public.
Acting chief executive officer Anthony Pereira said the airline remained committed to providing service for the public.
“I am proud to say that we have maintained an average on time performance of 89 per cent annually ensuring our customers arrive at their destinations on time every time,” he said.
“Due to remarkable growth over the last six years as PNG Air, with additional ports, doubling the seating capacity on our brand new ATR aircraft fleet, our eldest being six and youngest four years old, we made the decision to increase our sales outlets in Port Moresby where the demand is high.”
He said the sales and projected sales for the coming months had influenced management’s decision to prepare the company to not only meet the public demands but to also provide facilities that allowed accessibility for its clients.
“Having a sales office at Jackson domestic and international terminal will provide easy access for the public and business houses within the airport vicinity to make travel bookings on PNG Air’s network,” Pereira said.
“It is a great honour for us. We always emphasis that we must do anything and everything for our customers and the customer for is paramount, if it was not for a customer, we would not have an airline.”

  • PNG really needs 1 or 2 more of 3rd party airlines. Whilst PNG Air and Airniugini are doing well in service delivery, most areas are not serviced. Also you see a price hike in fares to/from for both airlines and ordinary PNGeans are the ones being hit hard.
What happened to Mangi Long Ples? Islands Nation Air? Air Link to name a few?
APNG and AirNiugini should reduce costs of airfares.
