A local church has launched its first international branch in Australia.
Life in the Spirit Ministries (LITSM) international overseer Pastor David Dii said the church was launched in Brisbane, and incorporated in Australia on June 12.
Dii and his wife Pastor Tabitha, the church’s national overseer, and other delegates who went for the launch, returned from Australia on Saturday with the church’s incorporation certificate to present to the church here.
Pastor Dii said: “I am standing here in a very historic moment for this nation and a great achievement for this ministry.”
He said when Australia incorporated the ministry four months ago on Feb 16, it gave a message to churches and the people of PNG that you have been spiritually matured.
Life in the Spirit Ministries is a home-grown church which was started in Goroka, Eastern Highlands, by Pastor Dii, who is originally from Tangaimanda village in the Tsak valley of Enga.
“He was called by God with an apostolic anointing to raise up a ministry and raise people in this country,” Dii said.
The ministry was launched after the Lord took Dii to Israel and showed him how he was going to take PNG.
He said the church was launched in December 1995 in the highest mountain of PNG, Mt William, in the Gembolg district, Chimbu.
He said the call of this church was to restore what had been lost in the Garden of Eden by making man live a life free of sin.
