Big Rooster has committed K250,000 to PNG Fashion Week for its 2018 spring season.
Part of the amount committed will support 50 scholarships dedicated to fashion week’s models and designers in areas of technology, human resource management, accounting and marketing.
Managing-director of PNG Fashion Week, Philma Kelegai said the event was about building legacies.
She said it was not a one-off event but was here to stay.
“It is a privilege to be able to give our certified and recognised qualification that can give them a foot in the door of life and to contribute positively to our nation,” she said.
