PNG firm runs restaurant in city

DEKMOG Group of Companies Ltd has ventured into the hospitality industry with the opening of the Waigani Drive Restaurant at InterOil service station.
Dekmog, a nationally-owned company, made a breakthrough in the industry to provide quality and high standard service, managing director William Gumayagl Onglo said.
Onglo said the company had to plan for six months to operate a restaurant with active marketing strategies from InterOil national retail manager Jim Son.
Dekmog also operates kai bars at InterOil services stations at Konedobu and 4-Mile in Port Moresby.
Director Nancy Onglo said it was a dream come true for the company.
Onglo said the company would airfreight fresh vegetables from Mt Hagen to Port Moresby.
Son congratulated Dekmog for being the first to operate a restaurant at an InterOil service station.
He said the InterOil was willing to support nationally-owned firms such as Dekmog.
Dekmog is into retailing and providing liquor, poultry services and kai bars in Port Moresby and Mt Hagen.
