Rellie Kaputin  leads the  2014 USA  Junior College Indoor High jump rankings with the National Championships less than two weeks away. Her personal best  of 1.67m at the Regional Championships at Storm Lake , Iowa last weekend is the best performance this season by any female in Junior College competition. Kaputin is also placed sixth in the triple jump rankings and tenth in long jump. However her best long jump of 5.59m is only 24 cm behind the No 1 ranked athlete so a very close contest can be expected at the Nationals.    Adrine Monagi also qualified for the National championships with very good 60m run in 7.81secs last weekend. The two girls will be part of the Northern Iowa Area  Community College Team to the Championships which will be staged at Monroe College New York. Other athletes who have also qualified individually for the championships are Veherney Babob (600m) , Theo Piniau (60m) and John Rivan (60m). Kalama Towarap , Priscillar John and Paul Pokana will all take part in relay events at the Championships. Meanwhile Pokana and Piniau are still hoping to qualify for the 400m event before the deadline of 28 February.
