PNG name squad for friendly

THE Papua New Guinea Football Association has announced a 33-man train-on-squad for an international friendly against Singapore next month.
Technical director Percy Mataio said the team would be trimmed to a 23-man squad two weeks prior to travel for the June 12 match.
A squad for the women’s national team would be announced with the players expected to convene into camp next week.
The men’s team will be led by head coach Harrison Kamake with David Muta as his assistant and Godfrey Baniau as goalkeeper coach.
Gari Moka has been named as team manager with Samson Steven as kit manager.
For the women’s team, Erickson Komeng will coach the squad with Edna Thomas as his assistant and Fidelma Watpore as goalkeeper coach.
Wira Wama was appointed team manager with Susanne Watpore as kit manager.
Mataio said more details on the squad and training arrangements would be made in the coming days.
