PNG Ports promotes healthy lifestyles

PNG Ports Corporation Limited (PNGCL) recognises sporting events as a way of promoting a healthy living and life style for its staff
It has, therefore, made a commitment to sponsor uniforms for the men’s and women’s team to enable to participate in the Corporate Beach Volleyball competition.
The company has paid a K2,000 registration fee.
Some of the employees of the organisation have taken part in various sporting codes, including volleyball with the full backing of the company and, finished off as runners-up in the volleyball competition.
PNG Ports Corporation Ltd chief executive officer Brian Riches said the sponsorship displayed the company’s commitment to providing positive opportunities for the staff to live better and healthier lives.
“Our participation in the volleyball competition will get a lot of keen sportsmen and women within the company involved in displaying their talents and possibly making it to the NCDC corporate volleyball team,” he said.
