PNG Power force draw with Kikila Cats

THE Kikila Cats’ infield errors cost them a win after PNG Power forced a 5-5 draw in round two of the Port Moresby men’s A-grade softball pre-season at the Bisini Diamonds on Sunday.
The Cats were leading 5-2 at the bottom of the fifth inning but PNG Power recorded three home runs through Eddie Simba, Stephen Sipori and Junior Damien.
Westar Koite, Torres Doba, Graham Varuna, Jeremy Penias and Benjamin Paivu all got on the score sheet for the Cats.
Making their presence felt in the pre-season, the Cats are slowly building ahead of the proper season.
The top sides like Brown Eagles, United Brothers, PNG Power, Bears, Yokomo and Defence are experimenting with their young players.
