PAPUA NEW GUINEA and Fiji soldiers who are part of Task Group Dingo with Australian Army engineers have completed two medium girder bridges at the Buchan Caves Reserve in Victoria, Australia.
According to the Third Brigade Australian Army, the two bridges will allow the popular tourist location to be reopened.
“It was a significant milestone for combat engineering with it being a multinational operational bridge build conducted on operations,” a Third Brigade Australian Army statement said.
They also visited the kindergarten year one reading groups from Omeo and Swifts Creek primary schools in Victoria.
“Members of the multinational contingent attended both schools and spent quality time with the children,” the statement said.
“Reading circles are moments in the day when the class would gather and are led through a children’s book.”
