It is an annual event co-hosted by three different MCIP participating nations with US.
The exercise includes tests and war games to assess the interoperability status of each nation’s communication systems and platforms for the core purpose of humanitarian aid and disaster relief missions in the region.
The countries that will be participating in this exercise are Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Japan, France, South Korea, Philippines, Brunei, Thailand, Maldives, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh and Cambodia.
PNGDF conducted rehearsals along different routes within the National Capital District and Central early this week to ensure the exercise ran smoothly once underway.
