PNGRFL annual meeting set for Saturday

THE twice deferred Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League (PNGRFL) annual general meeting will be held at the Bluff Inn Resort outside Port Moresby on Saturday.
PNGRFL chief executive Reatau Rau said in a statement that the eligible presidents would assemble at the resort on Friday and follow a Covid-19 protocol on arrival.
“Our doctors will be on hand to ensure health and hygiene processes and protocols are observed for those arriving by air,” Rau said. “Checks will be done on those travelling in by road at the resort.”
Rau said social distancing would be exercised during the meeting. “The presidents return on Sunday,” he said.
“The elections will go ahead this Saturday.”
He said further details would be made known before the end of the week.
