PNGSFOC sports medicine course next month

THE PNG Sports Federation and Olympic Committee (PNGSFOC) has secured funding from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to conduct a basic sports medicine course under the auspices of the IOC Medical Commission for medical personnel, doctors, physiotherapists and paramedics who are currently active in providing first aid to sporting teams. 
This course is intended to educate doctors, physiotherapists, trainers and coaches on practical and clinical aspects in sports medicine.
The course will be conducted by Australian sports physiotherapist Mark Cassidy and Dr Bernie Amof.
The course will be at Shady Rest Hotel in Port Moresby from July 1-3 and can accommodate up to 30 participants.
Medical personnel who are interested to attend the course, should submit applications accompanied by a reference letter from a sporting body.
