POLICE in Pogera, Enga, have received stationery airfreighted from Port Moresby with the assistance of a mining company.
Paiam police station commander Inspector Peter Yambum said they had bought stationery such as charge books, cell registers, and occurrence books in Port Moresby and approached Barrick (Niugini) Ltd to freight it to Porgera.
Yambum sought the company’s assistance through the Barrick-supported Restoring Justice Initiative.
