Police must clean up criminal infested market
The National, Monday July 21st, 2014
CAN the police at Gordon Police Station do something about petty thugs hanging around in the late afternoons at the Gordons bus top?
I just lost my course mate who was stabbed on the chest last week and died from loss of blood hours later because he refused to give his phone to a mindless punk.
From what information was collected the police was asked to help transport my bleeding fried to the Port Moresby General Hospital but they said that there was no car available.
I believe it is a police officer’s duty:
- To protects life and property through the enforcement of laws and regulations
- Arrest and processes criminals
- Operate a law enforcement vehicle under emergency conditions day or night
Please can the police officers do foot patrols or remove those unnecessary of selling of goods around at Gordon market.
My course mate was an innocent human being who just lost his life to a worthless punk at Gordons bus-stop.
How many more lives or thefts will it take for serious actions to be taken about this issue?
