Police must conduct a thorough probe

Letters, Normal

I WOULD like to commend the Ombudsman Commission for delivering the Motigate report without fear or favour so that PNG continues to grow without suppression and manipulation.
As revealed by the report, we now know who’s who and what role each played because of one foreigner that cost us dearly to date.
From the common people’s view, we have committed a serious offence by directing a military plane to engage in an unlawful mission.
Papua New Guinea is not at war with the Solomon Islands, so why did we do what we did?
The Ombudsman Commission has recommended the police to investigate the Prime Minister’s role in the affair.
We are now looking at the police to perform their constitutional duties without fear or favour.
