Police must probe family

I COMMEND the NCD police command for the recent raid by police on a house in a village in the Moresby South electorate in which a robbery suspect was arrested. A factory-made unlicensed firearm was recovered during the raid but his accomplices are still on the run. Police should thoroughly investigate the family and their relatives living in that house who are known to be involved in and abetting criminal activities for a long time. I understand these suspected criminals are getting assistance from rogue police. Police should also investigate a family member working at the Department of Bougainville Affairs in Gordon, NCD, who allegedly used a government vehicle to assist the suspected criminals.
