Police to link with churches

ASSISTANT police comm Anthony Wagambie Jr says police and the churches will make Port Moresby a safe and clean place to live in.
Wagambie told leaders of Christian Leaders Network in Port Moresby that it was time to give the city back to God and let Him have control over it.
He said the four biggest congregations in the city are the Catholic, Seventh-day Adventist, Anglican and Pentecostal churches which should be working together.
“We all must have spiritual unity to prevent the enemy from infiltrating,” Wagambie said.
“Let’s rid our city of corruption, criminal activities and killings.”
Body of Christ deputy chairman Pastor Michael Wilson said moral issues could not be addressed by police because they were not law and order issues.
He said the right injection was the Word of God.
