I WRITE to support concerns raised about the issue of six years study period to get degree at UOG is unfair.

I would like to ask if country’s high office responsible Office of Higher Education can revisit all education policies practiced in all tertiary institutions.

It is not fair for OHE to allow some institutions to practice issuing certificates, diplomas and degrees in short period of time, with employment guarantee.

Recently, we had soldiers graduated in just three months and police personnel graduating from Bomana Police College every six months.

Those are only few examples but there are many practices by some public and private institutions.

In terms of professional development, job security and remuneration package, education training period and course contents should be designed and practice based on considering these factors.

It is not fair for professionals like teachers to undertake three-years training with little pay than  pays receive by those  gone for training in three months.
