Policies to help students

EAST New Britain has set two policies which will help teachers identify students’ strengths and weaknesses.
Kokopo basic education inspector Midian Sinali said the Kokopo benchmarking and teachers funeral policies would be implemented this year and reviewed after three years.
According to senior primary school inspector Regina Munsi, the two policies recently launched in Kokopo would assist teachers in their benchmarking of students from elementary to primary level, and teachers’ funeral arrangements.
Munsi stressed that a standards needed to be set and followed by teachers and students.
