Politics not for Christian leaders

THE number of Christian leaders who contested this election leaves one wondering if it is proper.
When Jesus was faced with political situations, the great philosopher knew that it would affect his followers.
He drew a distinguishable line between religion and politics, withdrew and refused to be involved in politics.
Did Jesus put his hand up as an elected member or have his posters put up, with fancy policies?
In PNG, it seems that pastors and priests enter politics under the banner of religion for monetary and materialistic gains.
I fear that if it is not the intention of Jesus, then it is that of the devil himself.
Be warned about these ludicrous and unscrupulous beings who distort our perception of religion.
