THE Port Moresby rugby league nines select squad coach Manaseh Rapilla has put on notice those players that were selected in the squad for the upcoming PNG Games next month to attend training or they would be dropped.
Rapilla made this call after citing poor attendance of the selected 14 players in training sessions over the last two weeks as the event for the competition fast approaches.
It was also at the training session which would see the members of the squad take their medical tests before they played a trial match against the select side from the Western province in a lead up to the National Games.
Since the inception of a  rugby league nines competition in the last three national games,Team Central has held onto the rugby league nines title and will be out this year primed and focused to continue their supremacy in the shorterned version of  rugby league.
The 14-man side for the POM 9s is: Anthony Tony (Dobo Warriors), Charlie Simon (Paga), Dominic Milfred (Souths), Douglas Kaman (Paga), Eric Philip (Kone Tigers), Josiah Tony (Dobo Warriors), Kimson Kimi (Royals), Kokoro Gau (Maiari Eagles), Malon Palani (Wests), Nicky Balop (Souths), Sebastian Pandia (Wests), Solomon Palani (Dobo Warriors), Steven Joku (Kone Tigers), Veua Burau (Souths).
