POM league AGM deferred

 THE Port Moresby Rugby Football League (POMRFL) has again deferred its annual general meeting (AGM).

The meeting on Saturday which was to see the POMRFL table its financial reports for 2012 and 2013 did not take place.

POMRFL deputy chairman Dr James Naipao yesterday confirmed that even though the majority of clubs turned up they could not be considered because they had not met the requirements for attendance – hence there was no quorom.

Dr Naipao said the main requirement was to submit annual reports.

“As most of the clubs did not meet the requirements set the board deferred the meeting to January 27 for clubs to get their house in orders,” Naipo said.
