POMGH partners continue their support

THE late Henry Kila was a man who gave to the needy and supported where he could.
One such occasion was the Port Moresby General Hospital’s (POMGH) Christmas appeal last year where he pledged K1,000.
Last Friday, his pledge was delivered to the hospitals maternity wing by Boroko Motors (BM) and its support partners FM 100 and Mediapartners Ltd.
The Christmas appeal was an initiative by the BM management to promote the spirit of Christmas to the children in POMGH.
From the cash donations from late Henry Kila and SP general manager, Stan Joyce (K200), BM gave the mothers in the maternity wing small but needed materials.
Mediapartners liaison officer Pauline Julius said: “We want the mothers to know that there are business houses and concerned individuals who are willing to donate or help in one way or another.
“Mediapartners is hoping for more business houses to join the Christmas appeal so that the donations can increase to cater for the increasing needs of children and mothers in the hospital,” she said.
