EXECUTIVES of the Port Moresby Netball Association (POMNA) are in the process of verifying which clubs have met registration requirements.
POMNA president Linda Ligo told The National that the deadline to meet the requirements had lapsed last Saturday.
“My executives are finding it difficult and working hard to confirm the clubs who have paid their registration fees,” Ligo said yesterday.
“We have to get this process right to avoid any issues during the season.
“This is the reason we did not release this weekend’s draws early.
“There will be games on as usual but pending confirmation of registration payments.”
She said teams can find out about the draws at the Rita Flynn Netball Courts from today.
“We apologise for the inconvenience we may have causes to our affiliates,” Ligo said.
“The draws will be released as normal next week.”
