TEAMS that have expressed interest in playing in the 2013 media pool competition will know by tomorrow if they have made the cut.

Teams for this year’s competition will be announced at the launching of the 2013 competition at the Lamana Hotel tomorrow night.

Competition chairman Collin Taimbari said more than 32 teams had expressed interest but there were only 24 spaces available.

He said he was overwhelmed with the response from teams wanting to play this year but they just could not accommodate everyone.

The competition will be launched by patron and Health and HIV/AIDS Minister Michael Malabag, who will be accompanied by National Gaming Control Board chairman, Qwentan Chollai.

All players and team sponsors have been invited to the launch.

There will be other announcements made during the evening, including the major and support sponsors as well as the release of the 2013 competition draw.

The launch will be held from 5.30-7.30pm.
