Poor attitude by Hunters

Letters

THE termination of two Hunters Joe Joshua and Joe Frank shows that this year’s Hunters players are worse than previous year’s players.
I agree with the coach for terminating both instead of suspending them.
Although, both players seem to be very talented and have potential to be scouted by other teams in Intrust Super Cup, I urge the coach not to select them again.
Leave them with the Digicel cup team. The continuous ill- discipline players are really a matter of concern.
Players wearing Hunters jersey should take pride.
It takes effort and sacrifice to earn a spot in Hunters, but now it just seems that wearing Hunters jersey is just another Digicel cup sort of thing.
From my observation, it takes a while for a player to be selected into Hunters, but now because of the continuous ill-discipline from players the coach has no option but can just pick any players straight from Digicel cup and draft him into Hunters camp and play the next game without allowing the player to become acquitted and inducted well with the environment in Intrust Super Cup.
Such of this kind can drop the standard of game.
The standard of game in QLD Intrust Super Cup is of very high standard because it is the second tier to NRL and most of the NRL players when dropped from team get to play in the Intrust Super Cup maintaining the standard of the game of that NRL standard.
But Hunters Players seem to take this game for granted.
The players should maintain their standard both on and off field every time.
Lastly, please coach, give more game to Jerry Teme and Justin Yoka so that they can expose themselves and get confidence.
These two are both next Hunters potential/permanent half-back and five-eight restively.
