IT is frustrating to hear the so-called people of Chuave known as the “highway people” behave ruthlessly towards the people in East Elimbari, West Elimbari and Siane because of election-related matters.
The people dare not step into Chuave station for fear of being harassed.
When they travel to the station, all their money and belongings will be taken by the drug users residing along the Highlands Highway.
The people from these three areas known as the “Back Page” will not
go anywhere until after the elections and things go back to normal.
People living along the Highlands Highway should understand that the elections are a seasonal thing but the people and their friendship will remain.
They should not behave like animals.
