UNIVERSITY drew 15-15 with Wanderers in their round 13 Capital Rugby Union premier grade clash on Saturday at Bava Park, Port Moresby.
University coach Paul Joseph said his side failed to take their opportunities.
“I’m disappointed with the way we played. There were too many errors and not taking our chances when we were in position to score.
“Players told at last week’s training to lift their game but only a handful did while the majority didn’t.”
University held a slender 5-3 lead at halftime through a try by veteran No.8 George Oki while Wanderers Damine Foo kicked a penalty in a scrappy first 40.
Oki scored posted his second try in the second half Kilroy Lote mised the conversion for a 10-3 lead.
Wanderers scored a try through flanker Andrew Karai which Foo converted to level the scores at 10-10.
Barol Homerang scored to push Uni 15-10 ahead.
Wanderers flanker Allan Capanis was yellow-carded for a high tackle.
Two minutes before full time Wanderers Warwick Krykre scored a try but Foo failed to convert leaving the scores at 15-15.
