Poor roads in Lae and PNG

 I AM very disappointed with the state of  roads in Lae. 

There are potholes everywhere and yet no one bothers to study or investigate why the roads  cannot withstand the usual tropical rain through the years. 

Currently, some craters are more than two metres wide. 

This country spends millions to fix roads which do not last long due to the lack of pre-construction feasibility studies, poor repair works, no weigh  bridge system and the lack of proper engineering supervision.
