THE Port Moresby Rugby Football League will kick off its finals tomorrow with A-grade minor premiers Hohola Flies facing defending champions Tarangau at 3pm for a spot in the preliminary final.
Flies, led by skipper Paias Francis, will be keen on a week off if they can get a win against the fourth-placed Tarangau at the Oil Search National Football Stadium.
The second match for the top-four will see Brothers (second) and Dobo Warriors (third) play for the second preliminary final spot while the loser stands by for the winner from the bottom-four.
The winners from both qualifying finals will take next week off while the losers play the winners of the elimination finals.
The elimination finals kick off on Sunday with Kone Storm facing Magani following this week’s eighth-place playoff which saw Butterflies bow out in ninth spot.
Storm will be primed for the clash with Digicel Cup rake Patrick Morea leading his pack.
