Power restored to Nadzab

 ELECTRICITY along the highway from Nadzab to Mutzin in Morobe was restored last evening, thanks to the PNG Power Ltd crew in Lae.

They had been working on restoring power in the past four days, since Thursday evening.

Nadzab Airport is reported to have resorted to its standby generator throughout the period to prevent disruptions to  flight schedules. 

Meantime, Lae PNG Power regional manager Martin Bigiglen has been promoted to acting general manager operations in Port Moresby. 

Sub-station manager Albert Manako is acting in the position.
