Praise for EHP’s K323mil budget

TREASURER Ian Ling-Stuckey has commended Eastern Highlands Governor Peter Numu for submitting the province’s budget of K323 million.
Ling-Stuckey also welcomed Numu’s views on the issues faced by the provincial administrations. He promised to look into them.
Numu said the budget was aligned with the province’s medium-term development plan and its five year development plan.
The province is focusing on road infrastructure, trade and investment, and agriculture.
The budget for Eastern Highlands is K323,123,600.
Numu said the focus was on empowering the people in terms of growing the economy.
He thanked Ling-Stuckey for being realistic in the national budget.
Ling-Stuckey said the budget section of the ministry was effective.
