Praise for PNC choice

Letters

AS a longtime resident and local businessmen in Kundiawa, Chimbu, I thank Prime Minister Peter O’Neill for appointing a young man from Chimbu, David Dom Kua, as the new general secretary of the People’s National Congress Party (PNC).
I welcome the appointment on behalf of the people of Chimbu where the prime minister’s PNC party won two seats – in Chuave and Gumine – in last year’s general election.
As a staunch PNC supporter, I praise O’Neill for recognising Chimbu elites, as Kua’s elevation is a direct result of Chimbu’s undivided support to the PNC party during its formative stage of the PNC-led government.
The people of Chimbu have always been playmakers in politics.
