Pre-season training starts for Spartans

THE Spartans rugby union club started its preseason training this week at Ted Diro School, Murray Barracks, Port Moresby.
Club coach John Larry, called on players, old and new, to come to the field to prepare for the coming National Capital District Rugby Union preseason.
“Current players, interested, players men, women and all (are) invited to attend,” Larry said in a scoail media post on Monday.
Spartans, an offshoot of the Defence RFC, will field teams in the premier, A, B, Under-20s, open women and U18 women.
“The training days are Monday to Thursday (starting at) 4.30pm.”
