GOROKA MP Thompson Harokaqveh is putting up K50,000 for anyone who provides information to police that leads to the arrest of criminals in Goroka. The growing criminal activities in the town, and the emergence of a highly organised crime network, has raised concern, prompting the MP to offer financial incentives for information that helps police identify the criminals and where they operate from. The initiative has the support of Eastern Highlands provincial police commander Chief Insp Augustine Wampe and community leaders in Goroka.
