Prima sponsors Lae club to keep youths fit, occupied

Prima Smallgoods is backing a club to help reduce crime in Lae.
Prima Smallgoods national sales and marketing manager Kola Geri said the company’s sponsorship of the 13A Bulldogs in the Lae Rugby League competition would keep young people fit and occupied.
The club is made up of youths from Seventh Street, Chinatown, Bumbu and along the Butibum Road.
Geri presented six balls, two portable coolers, two whistles, two stopwatches, six water bottles and 40 training cones during the club’s training session on Monday.
“We want to form a good partnership as we operate within the vicinity of the club,” Geri said.
“We operate at Malahang and have taken the onus to support the team to get everyone involved.
“We want to work as a team.
“We want to have a good representation between the club and the company.”
