MARIA Hayes was right to say that the “PM’s staff let him down” (The National, March 24).
The PM is getting the blame for their failure to perform their duties.
They should resign en masse.
The onus is on them to feel the pain by taking this honourable road.
The tribunal found Sir Michael Somare guilty and he was suspended for 14 days.
It was a huge blow and an embarrassment for the prime minister.
They have caused his name and standing as the founding father of this nation to be tarnished.
The damage had been done and beyond repair now.
Their failure has dragged the prime minister’s name into the mud and they should eat mud, starting with the likes of Louma, Bengo and Betha.
Betha cannot hide behind her relationship as a daughter.
Papua New Guineans must understand that there is no such thing as “only an administrative matter” in this case.
It cannot be brushed aside as an administrative matter because the prime minister had breached the leadership code.
His credibility as a leader has been tarnished and his impeccable record blemished and that cannot be erased.
What is wrong with those around the prime minister?
